How SE Ranking counts your keywords
SE Ranking counts targets, not keywords.
- Daily keywords are counted as targets: keyword × search engine (pricing page: 30 keywords in 2 engines = 60 targets).
- SE Ranking's help center lists Google and Google Mobile as separate search engines, so desktop + mobile counts twice.
- Reviews report that each tracked location also counts again; the calculator assumes it does. Confirm with your own list during the trial.
- Enterprise (custom limits and pricing) is quote-only.
The calculator applies those rules. Examples:
- 500 keywords, Google desktop = 500 counted keywords → Core ($129/mo on monthly billing)
- 1,000 keywords, desktop + mobile = 2,000 counted keywords → Core ($129/mo on monthly billing)
- 1,000 keywords, desktop + mobile, 2 cities = 4,000 counted keywords → Growth ($279/mo on monthly billing)

SE Ranking has a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required. During the trial you can use up to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords per day, 20 AI prompts per day. The trial is fully functional, but its keyword limit is lower than Core's, so a large keyword list has to be tested in parts.

Annual billing is 20% off: Core $129/mo monthly or $103.20/mo billed annually; Growth $279/mo monthly or $223.20/mo billed annually. Annual plans are paid up front for the year.
